We are excited to welcome our new Patrons,
David Glenn and Criss Canning.
David Glenn is a horticultural legend. He is a true plantsman in the lost tradition of the ‘plant hunters‘. David and Criss have established a wonderful garden and nursery at Ascot, north of Ballarat. This specialised nursery has enhanced and enriched many local gardens as well as providing inspiration for private and civic gardens alike.
Criss Canning is a renown still life artist. She has had a very busy few years supporting and working with David and writing and publishing her book and recently having a sellout exhibition of her work in Melbourne. Both are generous, engaging ‘creatives’ in their own fields.
They offer advice and insights, gently guiding and encouraging. We look forward to seeing them at some of our meetings and functions in the future.
